Hounslow Bereavement & End of Life Support Service (The Mulberry Centre)


Hounslow Bereavement & EOL (End of Life) Support Service is available to anyone who has been bereaved for any reason or is supporting someone receiving care during the last phase of life. They can also provide support to the individual receiving end of life care.

The service is tailored to individual need and can help with the emotional, practical and financial impact of bereavement or illness. Delivered by, and based at The Mulberry Centre, the support offered includes:

  • One-to-one counselling
  • Support groups
  • Wellbeing classes including Yoga, Relaxation and Tai Chi
  • Social and creative activities
  • Drop-in emotional support
  • Workshops and presentations
  • Welfare and benefits information
  • Funeral, wills and probate guidance
  • Information and signposting

Does it cost anything?

The Mulberry Centre is a charity and offers it support services free of charge. They also receive funding to provide bereavement support from the London Borough of Hounslow.

Who can use the service?

To be eligible for this free service you must either live or work in Hounslow or have been (or cared for) a recent inpatient at West Middlesex University Hospital.

If you have been bereaved or affected by a cancer diagnosis, they can support you regardless of where you live or work.

You can contact the Service by calling 020 8321 6300 or by email.. Alternatively, you can call into the Centre in person. The Mulberry Centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm (Thursdays until 8pm).
