Hestia - LIFE Integrated Support Service in Hounslow including Carer Support and Advocacy

The Integrated Support Service is managed by Hestia on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow. The service is part of the Council's LIFE programme which aims to support residents and carers to live independently.

Who is eligible for Integrated Support?

You can receive support from the services if you:

  • are a resident of Hounslow
  • are aged 16 and over
  • require support to maintain or develop independence or
  • care for someone who lives in Hounslow

The service offers three areas of support:

1. Practical support including carer's support (Ages 16+)

Sometimes called 'floating support', practical support could include:

  • help accessing community activities, maintaining and building a social network
  • support with benefits and maximising income
  • support with employment, education, volunteering or training
  • housing support
  • support managing your health, gaining life skills and managing daily living tasks
  • making and accompanying to appointments (your GP or optician, for example)

  • support you to speak or speak on your behalf
  • complete a Needs Assessment or Carer's Needs Assessment
  • prepare or review a Care or Support Plan
