Taking Back Control - free training for carers (posted 18 June)

Taking Back Control is a new INS (Integrated Neurological Services) group run in partnership with London Borough of Hounslow.
Designed specifically for carers, each session will focus on managing the emotional impact of caring for a loved one with a long-term condition (all conditions, not only neurological).
Over the course of three, two hour sessions, you will learn how to:
• manage stress, anxiety and depression
• manage frustration and anger
• cope with role loss and managing grief
• maintain a healthy lifestyle and good well-being
• be more assertive
• recognise warning signs and symptoms
The course will run three times this year.
Friday 9, 16, and 23 August 2019, 10.30am 12.30pm *August sessions are full*
Friday 6, 13, and 20 September 2019, 10.30am 12.30pm
Friday 4, 11, and 18 October 2019, 10.30am 12.30pm
